Komune Art project
With the first showings and sales of the Komune Art Project over $5000 was raised for our chosen charities -Surf Aid, Surfers for Cetaceans and Surf Life. Many thanks to all those who attended and kindly gave your money and time to enjoy some brilliant artwork while supporting some very worthy causes.
Our thanks to the artists and sponsors who donated their work and art to make the evening what it was, with a custom JS surfboard and Danny Wills board with covered in artwork from Pro Surfboards being given away on the door. Finally to all the musicians who kindly donated their time and provided a great soundtrack to the evening with Holly Rankin and friends leading very well into The Band of Frequencies. Also thanks to Chris Cote who did a barn storming performance as MC and auctioneer.
For those of you who couldn't make it to the night there is still chance for you to view the works that were not purchased on the night as they will be hung at Komune for the coming months with proceeds still being donated to our nominated charities.
