THE FOREIGN OBJECTS

Members: Luke Hall - Guitar, Vocals. Josh Sims - Guitar, Vocals. Cam Campbell - Bass. Dave Hall - Drums.

Performing alongside Spiderbait, Little Birdy and Children Collide at 2009's Festival of The Sun, and supporting the likes of Grinspoon, Philadelphia Grand Jury, The Boxer Rebellion (UK), Fangs, and The Scare!

October will see their second EP release for 2010, recorded at 301 Byron Bay produced by Phil Jamieson and The Foreign Objects. With a recent showcase at BIGSOUND. With Coaster Festival just around the corner, A tour with The Novocaines and Fangs, Plus a tour with Grinspoon in November, Make sure you catch The Foreign Objects before they catch you.

Rusty caught up with Luke recently and fired some questions at him...

RUSTY- How did The Foreign Objects get together?

LUKE - We just started bashing away on the Guitars and Drums trying to make something cool come out of them. Then one day it happened! The Garage Rock Gods took a piss on us and blessed us with our own sound.

RUSTY - Where did the name of the band come from?

LUKE - Well why we're on the pissing topic. I took a piss at Festival of the Sun 3 years ago in the port-a-loo and it said "Do not place Foreign Objects in this toilet" So it was there and then just like on a movie i ran to my brother Dave and said Lets make a band and call it The Foreign Objects...

RUSTY - What's the funniest thing that has happened since you have been playing shows?

LUKE - We started a Riot in a club in Maroochydore , the old bitch who owned the joint was a lesbian ex stripper and she was like 'turn them down, turn them down' they kicked our mated from melbourne off stage so we got on there and gave them hell. Dont piss me off when i have a microphone.... simple.

RUSTY - You and the Drummer Dave are brothers, any sibling rivalry while on the road, or is it all brotherly love?

LUKE - We fight every now and again. But we're not brats and we dont have ego clashes or anything. Most of the time Dave's to busy beating his drums or flexing in the mirror to worry about having an argument.

RUSTY - In 3 words describe your music?

LUKE - BITCHING DIRTY LOVE.......
